Mahesh Kale is a budding and talented vocalist. Having learnt under the illustrious guru Padmashree Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki, who is well known to have learnt several gharanas (schools of music), listening to Mahesh's performances one sees a very pleasant blend of the various gharanas. Endowed with a rich resonant voice, Mahesh's performances are marked by an excellent command over both the rhythm and the melody. Presently Mahesh is continiung his music under the able guidance of Shri Shounak Abhisheki.
Arshad Syed is a disciple of the great santoor maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, and has been performing on the santoor in the U.S. and abroad.He brings to the santoor his formidable training and experience as a tabla player, developing his own style of santoor playing. His performances on the santoor are marked by his tremendous control over rhythm and layakari, and being an accomplished tabla player has helped him achieve the same finesse and dexterity on the santoor.
